2009 Gifts
Maria (not real name) is a documented domestic living in Los Angeles at the poverty level with her minor child. When her sister, her only family member living in this country, was diagnosed with cancer Maria lost wages due to the need to care for her. Bloom Again awarded Maria with a gift of $1,000 to supplement lost wages. Her sister passed away in January, 2009.
